OneRideTho Policies and Terms of Service

Welcome to OneRideTho! Your use of our services and website signifies your agreement to the following terms and conditions. These policies are designed to ensure the safety, security, and smooth operation of our services while protecting both our customers and drivers. Please read carefully before booking a ride.

Refund and Cancellation Policy

1. Refunds for Bookings:

Refunds are only issued for canceled bookings if the driver has not yet started traveling to your pickup location. Once the driver begins heading to your location, refunds are no longer applicable.

2. No-Show Refunds:

If a customer fails to enter the vehicle within the allotted 10-minute grace period, refunds will not be issued, and any applicable charges (including wait time fees) may still apply.

3. Cancellation Policy:

  • Cancellations made before the driver begins traveling to your pickup location will not incur a fee.
  • Cancellations made after the driver starts heading to your location will incur a flat fee of $10.

Cash Payment Policy

  • Payment Upon Entry: Customers paying with cash must provide payment upon entering the vehicle.
  • Bridge Tolls: Bridge toll fees are not included in the fare displayed on the site. Customers are responsible for paying any bridge tolls incurred during the ride directly or independently.
  • 10-Minute Grace Period: Customers must enter the vehicle within 10 minutes of the driver’s arrival. After 10 minutes, a fee of $0.50 per minute will apply.
  • Driver Cancellation: If the customer fails to enter the vehicle after 10 minutes, the driver reserves the right to cancel the ride. In such cases, the customer will still be charged the base fare, including applicable wait time fees.

Terms and Conditions

By booking a ride through OneRideTho, you agree to abide by the following terms and conditions:

  • Independent Drivers: OneRideTho connects customers with independent drivers. The company assumes no responsibility for incidents, damages, or actions that may occur during the ride.
  • Late-Night Fee: An additional fee of $5 will be charged for rides scheduled between 11:00 PM and 4:59 AM.
  • Bridge Tolls: Bridge toll fees are not included in the fare displayed on the site. Customers are responsible for paying any bridge tolls incurred during the ride directly or independently.

Code of Conduct

  • Customer Behavior: Customers are required to behave respectfully toward drivers, fellow passengers, dispatchers, and all members of the OneRideTho team. Abusive language, harassment, or inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated and may result in ride cancellation without a refund.
  • Driver Behavior: Drivers are expected to provide courteous and professional service.
  • Alcohol and Smoking: Alcohol consumption and smoking are strictly prohibited in the vehicle.
  • Damage to Vehicle: Customers are financially responsible for any damages they cause to the vehicle. Repair costs will be charged to the customer.

Vehicle Safety and Cleanliness

  • Seat Belt Requirement: All passengers must wear seat belts for their safety.
  • Maximum Occupancy: Rides are limited to the vehicle’s maximum seating capacity. Drivers have the right to refuse service if this policy is violated.
  • Cleanliness: Customers are expected to keep the vehicle clean. A cleaning fee of $20 will be charged for spills, stains, or excessive mess.

Prohibited Items

  • Restricted Items: Illegal substances, firearms, hazardous materials, and prohibited items are not allowed in the vehicle.
  • Pets: Pets are allowed only at the driver’s discretion, except for service animals, which are permitted by law.

Booking and Identification

  • Accurate Information: Customers are responsible for providing accurate booking details (pickup, drop-off, etc.). Incorrect information may result in additional charges.
  • Identity Verification: For security reasons, customers may be required to present a valid government-issued ID.

Delays and Emergencies

  • Weather and Traffic Delays: OneRideTho is not responsible for delays caused by traffic, weather, or other factors beyond our control. Refunds will not be issued for such delays.
  • Accidents or Emergencies: In case of an accident or emergency, contact local emergency services immediately and report the incident to customercare@oneridetho.com or (242) 822-1495

Lost Items

OneRideTho is not responsible for items left in the vehicle. Customers should contact us if they believe they’ve left an item, and we will assist in recovering it where possible.

Surge Pricing

Prices may vary during peak hours, holidays, or high-demand periods. Customers will be notified of any surge pricing during the booking process.

Privacy Policy

  • Customer Information: Personal information provided during booking is used solely for transportation services and will not be shared with third parties without consent.
  • Driver Information: Drivers’ personal information remains confidential and is used only for facilitating rides.

Zero Tolerance Policy

  • Drugs and Alcohol: Drivers are prohibited from operating vehicles under the influence of drugs or alcohol. Customers should report any such incidents immediately.
  • Weapons: Carrying weapons in the vehicle is strictly prohibited for both drivers and passengers.

Legal Agreement

By booking a ride through OneRideTho, you agree to all policies outlined above. These policies are subject to change without prior notice. OneRideTho assumes no liability for independent drivers’ actions, and customers use the platform at their own risk
